Identify the actual entities and custodians
Record the legal entity shown on the agreement or statement and the source location. A global brand may involve several entities. Counsel evaluates jurisdiction and lawful collection; a preparation inventory should identify sources without assuming authority to obtain them.
Preserve original dates and currencies
Keep source timestamps and amounts alongside any working conversion. Identify the method and preparer. Do not overwrite original values or silently choose a conversion date that changes the apparent sequence or total.
Label translations and limitations
Identify untranslated documents and the translator or method used for a working version. A rough summary should not become an unattributed definitive interpretation. Counsel may need qualified translation and local legal advice before relying on material.
Define the review boundaries
List missing records, access restrictions and specialist questions. SAG can organize the professional chronology and factual index but does not advise on foreign law or manage cross-border legal requests. Confirm authorized recipients before sharing sensitive material.

Official sources and professional scope
Consult the DOJ and SEC FCPA Resource Guide for legal background and DOJ’s FCPA enforcement guidance with counsel. The resource guide’s second edition dates to 2020 and does not by itself establish current policy. Sources checked November 6, 2026; counsel evaluates current authorities and the individual facts.
SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, foreign-law adviser or forensic accounting provider. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
