Governance committee service

Joseph De Gregorio has served on the Governance Committee of the Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network (FICGN) since 2024. The committee oversees the organization’s Board of Advisors.

His service places him within the governance work supporting a community built around education and the contributions of formerly incarcerated people. It reflects a commitment to participation and responsibility that extends beyond his individual client engagements.

A network built around achievement

FICGN advances education and empowerment through a collective community of formerly incarcerated students, graduates and professionals. Its work connects educational opportunity with professional development, employment and meaningful relationships.

The network supports members as they pursue academic and career goals, while working with educators, employers and partners to expand opportunity. Its vision recognizes people for their achievements and contributions and seeks to address barriers faced after incarceration.

Participation after incarceration

Joseph’s involvement reflects a practical view of reentry: a person’s future also depends on opportunities to learn, contribute and take responsibility within a community. Governance service is one way he participates in that work beyond Sentencing Advocacy Group.
