Define the business and claim period
Identify the entity, relevant policy documents and the period addressed by the submission. Preserve amendments and correspondence. Counsel assesses coverage and legal questions. The preparation chronology should not assume that a business-wide claim describes every individual’s responsibilities.
Preserve calculation inputs
Keep the records used for claimed expenses, property values or business interruption figures, as applicable to the actual submission. Identify the preparer and method. Qualified specialists evaluate accounting and valuation. SAG can organize the source index and unresolved factual questions.
Separate estimates from actual events
A projection, budget, invoice and completed payment can represent different information. Label each with date and purpose. Do not replace an estimate with later actual results without retaining the original calculation and explaining the change.
Document approval and submission
Identify who supplied information, reviewed the calculation and authorized the submission. Preserve communications and changes in duties. The personal account should be tied to sources and reviewed with counsel before it is used in a consequential setting.

Does SAG calculate business interruption loss?
No. Qualified accounting and legal professionals evaluate that question; SAG organizes the person’s records and preparation.
Sources and professional scope
Official background: FBI: Investigating Insurance Fraud and NAIC: Insurance Fraud. Sources checked November 6, 2026. These sources provide general context; counsel evaluates the actual jurisdiction, charge and applicable law. No historical statistics are used to predict an individual outcome.
A defined SAG assignment can include a personal chronology, indexed records, factual questions and preparation calendar. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, insurance adjuster, valuation provider or forensic accounting service. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No sentence, placement, release date or financial result is guaranteed.
For counsel: Discuss Support for Your Client. Begin with the role, stage and deadline; do not send account credentials or privileged advice through the inquiry form.
