Preserve what was actually communicated

Keep dated posts, recordings, presentations and attachments where relevant. Identify the version distributed, audience and source. A later edited page may not show the historical statement. Counsel should direct preservation and any technical collection; do not delete or revise material to change the historical record.

Identify the basis for each statement

Record whether information came from your own work, project materials or another person. Keep supporting communications and questions raised at the time. Do not describe supplied information as independently verified unless the record supports that. Counsel evaluates the significance of knowledge, reliance and the actual statements.

Document compensation and relationships

Organize agreements, payments, token allocations and relevant relationship records by period. Distinguish promised compensation from received assets, and preserve valuation assumptions separately. Do not assume that a payment label resolves its legal significance. Qualified legal and financial professionals should evaluate those questions.

Prepare a specific personal account

SAG can organize professional history, the chronology of actual activity and practical preparation alongside counsel. A public profile or follower count does not replace the individual facts. Keep a source index and unresolved-question list so reviewers can inspect the account without relying on reputation or generalized assertions.

Continue your preparation

Should I describe project-supplied information as independently verified?

Only if the record supports that description. Preserve the source and distinguish information received from verification actually performed.

Sources and a defined preparation assignment

Agreed deliverables can include a personal and professional chronology, indexed supporting records, factual questions for counsel and a practical preparation schedule. SAG does not manage legal responses or provide forensic tracing or valuation opinions. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
