Start with the actual proposed obligation

Keep the demand, agreement or proposed order and its schedules together. Identify claimants, amounts, asset units, valuation dates and procedural status where those appear. Do not treat a public report about recovered cryptocurrency as proof that a particular person’s obligation has been satisfied.

Distinguish custody from distribution

A frozen account, seized asset, liquidation and payment to a recipient are different events. Record the documents and dates for each known stage. Counsel determines whether and how a recovery affects restitution. Do not promise that every recovered token or dollar will automatically receive credit against an obligation.

Preserve valuation and allocation assumptions

A schedule may use a particular conversion date or allocation among claimants. Keep that assumption visible with its source. If versions differ, list the change and unresolved question. Qualified legal and financial review is necessary; a personal-preparation spreadsheet does not establish the legally correct amount.

Connect the financial file to practical planning

Organize accurate current income, assets, liabilities and expenses within counsel’s requested scope. Joseph’s Bloomberg Law restitution analysis is linked in the publication column because a reviewable financial record matters before consequential decisions. SAG can organize the file and questions without guaranteeing savings or a payment outcome.

Continue your preparation

Does seizure mean restitution has already been paid?

No automatic conclusion follows. Keep seizure, liquidation and distribution records separate and ask counsel how they affect the obligation.

Agreed deliverables can include a personal and professional chronology, indexed supporting records, factual questions for counsel and a practical preparation schedule.
