Begin with confirmed obligations

Maintain a calendar of dates verified by counsel. Separate hearings and interviews from estimates. Identify ordinary household and caregiving responsibilities without circulating sensitive legal advice merely to coordinate logistics.

Identify international practical questions

Employment, travel, residence and document access may involve several jurisdictions. Preserve the relevant orders and agreements and direct legal questions to qualified counsel. SAG does not advise on immigration, foreign law or permission to travel.

Prepare accurate household information

Organize resources, recurring expenses and established support arrangements. Keep restrictions and uncertain income visible. Do not make transfers or commitments based on assumptions about the effect of a case or order.

Connect plans to the actual stage

Investigation, sentencing and surrender require different priorities. Update the practical plan as confirmed facts change. SAG can help organize responsibilities and preparation nationwide, but cannot promise a sentence, placement or release date.

Official sources and professional scope

Consult the DOJ and SEC FCPA Resource Guide for legal background and DOJ’s FCPA enforcement guidance with counsel. The resource guide’s second edition dates to 2020 and does not by itself establish current policy. Sources checked November 6, 2026; counsel evaluates current authorities and the individual facts.

SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, foreign-law adviser or forensic accounting provider. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.

Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
