Start with the writer’s actual knowledge
Identify how the writer knows the person, the duration of the relationship and concrete experiences they can describe. A professional title does not replace firsthand knowledge. Avoid broad endorsements or claims about events the writer did not observe.
Keep legal assertions out of unsupported accounts
Counsel should guide the purpose and use of support materials. Writers should not repeat unverified allegations, announce legal conclusions or promise what the court should do. Their contribution is an accurate account of what they personally know.
Use specific examples
Document relevant conduct, responsibilities and observed changes with dates where possible. Distinguish an established pattern from a recent intention. Do not coordinate identical language across writers; independent, truthful accounts are easier to assess than repeated promotional phrases.
Organize the review process
Track authors, dates, drafts and counsel’s review schedule. Preserve the final version and the writer’s contact information within the agreed handling process. SAG can coordinate organization, but counsel decides whether and how material should be submitted.

Are prominent names more useful than specific firsthand accounts?
A title alone does not establish knowledge. Focus on truthful, concrete observations and counsel’s guidance about relevance.
Sources and professional scope
Official background: FBI: Investigating Insurance Fraud and NAIC: Insurance Fraud. Sources checked November 6, 2026. These sources provide general context; counsel evaluates the actual jurisdiction, charge and applicable law. No historical statistics are used to predict an individual outcome.
A defined SAG assignment can include a personal chronology, indexed records, factual questions and preparation calendar. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, insurance adjuster, valuation provider or forensic accounting service. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No sentence, placement, release date or financial result is guaranteed.
For counsel: Discuss Support for Your Client. Begin with the role, stage and deadline; do not send account credentials or privileged advice through the inquiry form.
