Start with your current stage

Choose the matching stage in the inquiry form. The first conversation follows the needs of that stage; you do not need to upload case records to begin.

Before the PSR interview

The review focuses on the interview date, preparation already completed, available personal-history records and coordination with defense counsel. A possible engagement begins with a document inventory and interview-preparation plan.

After the PSR interview, before sentencing

The review focuses on the next confirmed deadline, materials already prepared and factual gaps requiring counsel’s attention. A possible engagement identifies the remaining documentation and client preparation that can be completed within the time available.

Sentenced, preparing to surrender

The review focuses on the confirmed surrender date, known designation, practical preparation and family communication. A possible engagement produces a surrender checklist and an initial custody and release-planning roadmap.

In custody or preparing for release

The review focuses on the current placement, available official records, administrative questions and housing, employment and support plans. A possible engagement produces a documented release plan and follow-up log. Prison custody, halfway-house placement and home confinement are considered separately.

Contacting us as defense counsel or a family member?

Use your own contact information and select the defendant’s current stage. At the first conversation, identify your role and the support you are seeking. Attorneys can discuss a matter-specific engagement or ongoing support. Family members can discuss practical preparation and communication needs. Agree on authority and information-sharing arrangements before exchanging another person’s records.

Your initial conversation starts with your circumstances: the stage of the case, the next deadline, the people involved and the preparation already completed. Those facts help define where Joseph can provide useful support.

Three steps to a defined engagement

  1. Your situation: send your contact details and current stage. Joseph responds using your selected preference.
  2. A focused conversation: discuss your role, next confirmed deadline, priorities and available records. Identify which services fit and any questions that belong with defense counsel.
  3. A defined engagement: agree on scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timing and fees before work starts.

This is a consultation about SAG’s preparation services. Legal advice, filings and courtroom advocacy remain with defense counsel. Sending an inquiry does not retain SAG.

Private Case Review Privacy Notice

Effective September 21, 2026. Joseph De Gregorio is responsible for responding to inquiries and administering the retention review described below.

What to share

The initial form collects your preferred name, email address, current stage, preferred consultation type, any optional callback number and response preference, and permission to respond. Please use your own contact details. Do not send case documents, detailed allegations, case numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information or financial records through this form. Agree on an appropriate process with Joseph before sending sensitive records.

How inquiry information is used and stored

We use the information to respond, understand the preparation you are seeking and consider a possible engagement. Submission does not retain SAG or create an attorney-client relationship. SAG is not a law firm.

Squarespace stores form submissions and contact details. Submission notifications are sent to Joseph’s SAG Google Workspace mailbox. The form does not enroll you in marketing. Google reCAPTCHA provides spam protection; Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that service. Squarespace and Google process information needed to provide their services.

Access and retention

Joseph handles inquiries. Authorized website administrators may have technical access to submissions while maintaining the site; that access does not authorize them to contact prospects or handle inquiries. We do not promise absolute confidentiality or security for an initial website inquiry.

Joseph reviews unretained inquiries 90 days after the last substantive contact to determine whether they should be deleted or retained for a documented reason. This is a review policy, not automatic deletion. Copies may exist in Squarespace and notification emails. Records for retained engagements are managed through the agreed client-record process.

Website measurement and your choices

The inquiry record may include the SAG resource page whose review link you followed, plus any source you choose to enter in “How did you find SAG?”. This helps us understand which resources lead to useful inquiries. The resource field identifies a page, not your search terms or case records. It does not prove that the page was your first visit or that a search result was paid, organic or AI-generated.

The website uses Squarespace services, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand website use, contact-link activity and accepted inquiry submissions. Google tags may use cookies and device information to measure advertising results. A contact-link click does not establish that an inquiry or call was received. SAG’s inquiry conversion event is sent only after the form accepts a submission; it does not include your name, email address, phone number, selected stage or other form details. Advertising personalization signals and enhanced conversions are not enabled for this measurement.

You may use the existing call, text or email options instead of this form. To ask about inquiry information, request a correction or deletion review, or withdraw permission for further inquiry follow-up, contact joseph@sentencingadvocacygroup.com or call 646-588-8182. Joseph will review the request and any applicable retention responsibilities.
