Identify the legal entities and sources
A platform brand may operate through different entities or account arrangements. Record the entity shown in the relevant agreement and statement rather than assuming one global identity. Counsel evaluates jurisdictional and legal questions. The preparation inventory should identify what records exist and who is authorized to obtain them.
Keep original time references
Record the time zone and date format used by each source. Preserve the original timestamp alongside any working conversion. Events near a date boundary can appear on different calendar days across systems. Do not change the underlying source file to make a chronology easier to read.
Document language and access limitations
Identify untranslated material, missing exports, closed accounts or limits on access. Qualified translation or technical support may be needed. Do not guess the meaning of a legal or financial term from a rough summary. Counsel should direct collection and handling where cross-border privacy or other obligations may arise.
Produce a focused review agenda
List the factual gaps and the records that could resolve them. SAG can help organize the professional chronology and index, but does not advise on foreign law or manage cross-border legal requests. A clear account of limitations is more useful than presenting an incomplete file as comprehensive.
Continue your preparation
Should timestamps be overwritten into one time zone?
Preserve the original timestamps. If a working chronology uses conversions, label them and retain the conversion method and source.
Sources and a defined preparation assignment

Agreed deliverables can include a personal and professional chronology, indexed supporting records, factual questions for counsel and a practical preparation schedule. SAG does not manage legal responses or provide forensic tracing or valuation opinions. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
