Map the decision process
Identify relevant proposals, voting records, approvals and implementation steps. Record the dates and sources for each. A proposal, vote and executed action are separate events. Do not assume that a public governance record captures every operational decision or establishes every participant’s knowledge.
Separate formal roles from actual work
Record your documented role and what you personally did. Identify delegated responsibilities, access changes and operational instructions. A decentralized label does not remove the need for a precise factual account. Counsel determines the applicable legal standards and how governance facts relate to the matter.
Preserve versions and implementation evidence
Keep amended proposals, revised policies and relevant technical records separately identified. Record who can explain the sources and where they are held. Technical interpretation may require specialists. A personal chronology should point to the evidence rather than present an unsupported conclusion about what a system executed.
Make unresolved questions visible
List missing records, unclear authority and differences between formal decisions and observed activity. Avoid filling gaps with a narrative designed to make the structure look simpler. SAG can organize the professional chronology and source index for counsel’s review while legal and technical conclusions remain with qualified professionals.
Continue your preparation
Does a governance vote explain every later action?
No. Preserve the proposal, vote and implementation records separately and identify what remains uncertain.

Work directly with Joseph to define the scope, authorized recipients and review dates. Agreed deliverables can include a personal and professional chronology, indexed supporting records, factual questions for counsel and a practical preparation schedule. SAG does not manage legal responses or provide forensic tracing or valuation opinions. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
