Verify the biography

Organize education, employment, family responsibilities and relevant health or treatment records accurately. Identify factual gaps and supporting documents. Dates should remain consistent across the biography and professional chronology.

Explain duties plainly

Describe actual financial responsibilities and relevant periods in language a nonspecialist can follow. Keep source references for significant statements. Legal arguments and disputed accounting conclusions belong with counsel and appropriate experts.

Organize financial information

Prepare requested income, asset, liability and expense sources within counsel’s scope. Keep disputed case amounts separate from current household finances. Do not omit difficult information because records are inconvenient to collect.

Coordinate the preparation process

Confirm interview arrangements and priorities with counsel. Probation prepares the official report. SAG assists with organization and readiness; counsel controls legal advice and objections. Neither preparation nor a particular personal history guarantees the report’s content or the sentence.

Sources and professional scope

Official starting points: United States Sentencing Commission economic-offense guidelines. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.

SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.

Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
