Describe duties by period

Record employers, roles, reporting lines and responsibility changes. Keep job descriptions separate from evidence of daily work. A current position may not describe the person’s authority during the period under review.

Separate actions within a workflow

Identify who requested, entered, approved, transmitted or reconciled a transaction. Preserve sources for significant statements. A shared process should not be reduced to a single participant’s responsibility without supporting evidence.

Distinguish knowledge from hindsight

State what the person knew at the time and how that is documented. Put later discoveries in a separate part of the chronology. Attribute recollections and identify uncertainty rather than filling gaps with confident assumptions.

Connect the personal history

Verify employment and education dates, practical responsibilities and relevant training. SAG organizes the record for review; counsel determines legal significance and whether particular facts belong in a submission.

Sources and professional scope

Official starting points: United States Sentencing Commission economic-offense guidelines. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.

SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.

Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
