Start with the actual matter

A contract dispute, audit finding, civil claim, suspension proceeding and criminal prosecution are not interchangeable. Preserve the actual notice and identify the agency, entity, person and confirmed deadline. Counsel determines the legal issues. SAG organizes the individual’s professional and personal history so the preparation assignment fits the proceeding rather than assuming every procurement concern becomes a sentencing case.

Separate the contract from the person

Government projects can involve prime contractors, subcontractors, consultants and employees with different responsibilities. A contract-wide financial figure does not describe each person’s decisions. Build a dated responsibility map showing proposal work, certifications, performance, billing and oversight. Attribute statements to their sources and identify where the record remains incomplete.

Build an inspectable preparation file

A defined engagement can include a professional chronology, source index, responsibility map, factual questions and preparation calendar. Source materials may include solicitation versions, agreements, change orders, invoices, time records and delivery documents. Counsel directs preservation, collection and disclosure; specialists assess accounting, technical and procurement questions. Summaries should preserve uncertainty rather than conceal it.

Prepare for the presentence process

After a plea or conviction, preparation may also involve verified family history, education, employment, health records, character support and practical plans. Probation prepares the official presentence report. SAG helps organize underlying information and prepare the individual in coordination with counsel. The process does not promise a particular guideline calculation, sentence or financial result.

Connect published analysis to the question

Joseph’s Bloomberg financial-preparation analysis offers a useful starting point when figures and their supporting assumptions need review. His PSR and sentencing work connects the business chronology to the broader personal record. The publication column distinguishes authored work and professional appearances; these are not endorsements or evidence of influence with an institution.

Define the engagement

Begin with the person’s role, stage and deadline. Agree on deliverables, recipients and review dates before exchanging sensitive files. SAG serves clients nationwide from New Jersey and arranges travel for cases. Counsel retains legal strategy and submissions; SAG’s work supports preparation within the agreed scope.

Sources and professional scope

Official starting points: DOJ Procurement Collusion Strike Force and DOJ procurement-collusion indicators. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.

SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.

Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
