Identify the communication
Keep the actual request, subpoena, audit notice or interview invitation with its attachments. Record who received it and when. Separate confirmed deadlines from estimates. Counsel assesses its significance and directs any response; a preparation chronology should not independently label the person a target or witness.
Map projects and responsibilities
List relevant contracts, entities, positions and periods. Identify changes in the person’s work, reporting line and access. Preserve source references so a reviewer can distinguish a contract portfolio from the projects in which this person actually participated.
Inventory without changing originals
Identify materials lawfully available and their custodians. Preserve originals and distinguish later summaries. Counsel directs collection and preservation, including employer systems and personal devices. Do not access a former account, delete inconvenient records or contact colleagues to coordinate recollections.
Define the preparation assignment
A useful first product is a dated professional chronology and question list. Personal background may be organized separately as appropriate. SAG does not conduct legal interviews or decide what should be produced. The agreed calendar should identify counsel’s review points before external responses.

Sources and professional scope
Official starting points: DOJ Procurement Collusion Strike Force and DOJ procurement-collusion indicators. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.
SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
For counsel: Discuss Support for Your Client. Begin with the role, stage and deadline, not privileged advice or credentials, in the inquiry form.
