Identify the request precisely

Keep the notice, stated purpose, sender and deadline. A recorded statement, examination under oath and government interview can involve different issues. Counsel should assess obligations and strategy. SAG does not advise whether to participate or provide legal representation during the process.

Inventory prior accounts

Identify claim forms, recorded statements, written responses and other relevant accounts already given. Preserve the actual record where available. Separate a transcript from a personal recollection of a conversation. Counsel evaluates differences and determines what further review is needed.

Prepare facts without scripting uncertainty away

Organize dates and source references. Identify what you know firsthand, what you learned from others and what you do not recall. Do not replace uncertainty with a rehearsed answer. A preparation file should help counsel inspect the facts, not manufacture confidence.

Coordinate sensitive questions

Flag legal, medical, financial or technical questions for the appropriate professional. SAG can organize the personal timeline and practical arrangements. Counsel controls legal advice and responses, including how any correction or clarification should be handled.

Will SAG tell me whether to give a recorded statement?

No. Qualified counsel must advise on the request and its legal context.

Sources and professional scope

Official background: FBI: Investigating Insurance Fraud and NAIC: Insurance Fraud. Sources checked November 6, 2026. These sources provide general context; counsel evaluates the actual jurisdiction, charge and applicable law. No historical statistics are used to predict an individual outcome.

A defined SAG assignment can include a personal chronology, indexed records, factual questions and preparation calendar. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, insurance adjuster, valuation provider or forensic accounting service. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.

Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No sentence, placement, release date or financial result is guaranteed.
