Build a dated employment history
Record positions, supervisors, actual duties and relevant transitions. Preserve job descriptions while noting when real responsibilities differed. A current description may not reflect earlier work. Include periods of leave, reassignment or departure when relevant, supported by sources rather than assumptions.
Identify instructions and actions separately
Record what you were told, by whom and when, alongside what you actually did. Keep contemporaneous communications where available. Do not assume that an instruction resolves the legal significance of an action. Counsel needs a candid account, including questions you raised and information you learned later.
Map access without overstating involvement
Identify systems you could use and actions shown in available records. Access alone may not explain every event; lack of a formal title may not describe all actual responsibilities. Technical attribution questions belong with qualified reviewers. Your chronology should distinguish observed facts from inference.
Prepare the personal record and practical plan
Organize employment history, family obligations, treatment and future-work planning within counsel’s agreed scope. SAG can help make the account coherent and source-backed. Do not contact other participants to coordinate stories or change historical records. Counsel directs legal responses and communications concerning the matter.
Continue your preparation
Does being an employee automatically resolve responsibility?
No. Counsel evaluates the facts and law. Document your actual duties, instructions, actions and knowledge accurately.
Sources and a defined preparation assignment
Official context: Department of Justice: Justice 101. Sources checked November 6, 2026. Counsel evaluates the applicable law, dates and individual facts.
Work directly with Joseph to define the scope, authorized recipients and review dates. Agreed deliverables can include a personal and professional chronology, indexed supporting records, factual questions for counsel and a practical preparation schedule. SAG does not manage legal responses or provide forensic accounting. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
SAG serves clients nationwide from New Jersey, with travel arranged for cases. SAG is not a law firm. No charging decision, sentence, placement or release date is guaranteed.
