Describe actual work
Identify what the person completed, when and with whom. Preserve appropriate supporting records. A certificate, treatment record and supervisor observation have different scopes; avoid claiming that any single item proves every aspect of change.
Connect accountability to established facts
Counsel should review how the account fits the procedural stage and case record. Do not imply admissions that have not been made or suggest that later conduct erases established events. Accuracy matters more than emphatic language.
Distinguish personal conduct from policy
A new workplace rule or organizational announcement does not by itself establish the person’s sustained actions. Identify observable work and independent support where appropriate and authorized.
Keep plans realistic
Future commitments should specify steps and what remains unconfirmed. SAG can organize completed work, records and a preparation calendar. The resulting account supports review without guaranteeing how probation or the court will assess it.

Sources and professional scope
Official starting points: United States Sentencing Commission economic-offense guidelines. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.
SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
