Identify the relevant requirement

Preserve specifications, milestones, amendments and authorized changes for the period. Distinguish a proposed requirement from an effective term. Counsel and technical reviewers assess what governed the performance in question.

Index evidence of performance

Keep delivery records, reports, test results and contemporaneous communications with dates and sources. Separate the person’s observation from another participant’s report. Technical documents may need specialist interpretation rather than a general narrative.

Preserve acceptance and disputes

Record inspection, acceptance, rejection, remediation and correspondence separately. A payment does not by itself settle every performance question. Keep disagreements visible so counsel can examine their basis and procedural status.

Connect the record to responsibility

Identify who performed, inspected, reported or approved the work. Account for changes in role. SAG can organize the chronology and source list; it does not make technical conformity findings or determine contractual or criminal liability.
