Identify the original system record
Preserve available entries, dates, project codes and revision history within counsel’s collection instructions. An exported spreadsheet may omit approvals or changes. Identify the source and extraction date rather than presenting an incomplete export as the entire record.
Connect assignments to periods
Keep documented project assignments, schedules and relevant instructions. Distinguish what was planned from work actually performed. Counsel and appropriate specialists assess billing requirements; a calendar entry alone does not establish compensable work.
Preserve corrections and explanations
Retain the earlier and corrected entries with documented reasons and approvals. Do not create a new record that appears contemporaneous. Attribute recollections as recollections and identify the limits of supporting information.
Describe individual participation
Separate entering, reviewing, approving and billing time. Identify changing responsibilities and instructions. SAG can organize the professional chronology and source questions but does not conduct a labor audit or decide whether an entry violates a contract or statute.

Sources and professional scope
Official starting points: DOJ Procurement Collusion Strike Force and DOJ procurement-collusion indicators. Counsel evaluates current authorities, the applicable guideline version and the individual facts. These resources do not decide the outcome of a particular case. Sources checked November 6, 2026.
SAG provides defined personal and professional preparation: a chronology, source index, factual review questions and practical calendar as agreed. Counsel controls legal advice, responses and submissions. SAG is not a law firm, forensic accounting provider or compliance certifier. An engagement does not automatically establish privilege.
Based in New Jersey, SAG serves clients nationwide, with travel arranged for cases. No charging decision, sentence, financial result, placement or release date is guaranteed.
